Signed images, A/B slots and rollback protection, so the update path isn't an open door. Drawn in from day one, with the flash to hold two images.

Cells out with standard screws: no proprietary tools, heat or solvents; no glue or welding; one fastener type throughout; no software lock-out of compatible cells. Designed in ahead of the EU battery rule of 18 Feb 2027.
